Morning Meeting with #theBossofMe 10.22.2020

😇: 1 Corinthians 12:17
If the whole body were an eye, where were hearing? If the whole body were hearing, where were the smelling?

🦄: There have been many times while working one of the plantation jobs corporate America offers that I was made to feel unappreciated and undervalued. Perhaps if I had seen the situation differently, I may have been at peace in knowing the corporations couldn’t afford to give my job to someone less faithful.

🦋: My small tasks are important because they are very noticeable when they are neglected.

🎬: I must stay faithful and cheerfully progress the assignment given to me by God to the best of my ability each and every day.

😇: Matthew 28:19
Go, then, to all peoples everywhere and make them my disciples.

🦄: God’s powerful presence enables “everywhere” outreach. While residing at Houston’s the Turning Point Center, a community for elderly underserved humans, I took advantage of many opportunities to extend a helping hand to other residents by using available resources and distributing desperately needed items to those experiencing lack.

💡: I learned that when keeping things simple and focusing on one individual at a time, showing God’s goodness and kindness to others is the very best way for me to maintain my peace of mind.

🦋: I need not worry about experiencing lack, because God is my Provider.

🎬: I must show kindness everywhere in order to lead people to God.

Make Change
😇: Romans 12:2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to rest and prove what God’s will is—His good, pleasing, perfect will.

🦄: Though I strongly desire change, l struggle to get or stay on task with my goals. The issue is that change hurts more than staying the same, so I tend to choose comfort over my desire. God longs to do “greater things than these, but for me, doing nothing seems reassuring, safe, and predictable.“

🦋: “One day, I will” is the enemy of “Today, I am.”

🎬: I must never forget that I was created to do great things.

🎬: Feel free to share notes & references from your 10.22.2020 Prayer/Meditation/Spirituality in the comments below. 💜😇👸🏽🦋🦄
