Welcome
Letter From the Editor:
My God in Heaven,
Thank you for sharing a few moments of your time with me and all who have accepted my invitation to join me in Navigating Life vertically by focusing on Wellness and What’s Important to each of us as individuals. Once we have ourselves straight, we can work together to help others achieve the balance we have found for Your glory and our good.
My God, let us combine resources, offer love, and offer support to other human beings who have realized “What has been done will be done again, there is nothing new under the sun,” (Ecclesiastes 1:9), and are ready to stop living horizontally and begin striving to live “beyond the sun” as King Soloman advised. For Your glory, and our good.
Let us think outside of the box and try things that have never been done before! Let us make that “good kind of trouble”, as we stop practicing insanity and build up Your kingdom in Houston, Texas, these “yet to be United States”, and in the world You created. Let us be guided by Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Ecclesiastes 1:14
I have seen all the works which have been done under the sun, and behold, all is vanity and striving after wind.

Colossians 1:10
And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way, bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God!

Vision Statement

The Vertical Path will build villages that will strengthen black tribes, grow black-owned businesses, and provide good people with resources historically unavailable to them while sharing the peace, love, and hope gifted by my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mission Statement

To create a village that will leave this place better than I found it for the sake of my great-grandchildren by teaching others the key to unlocking mental health stabilityꟷ the daily practice of balancing the eight dimensions of wellness: Spiritual Wellness, Emotional Wellness, Environmental Wellness, Financial Wellness, Intellectual Wellness, Occupational Wellness, Physical Wellness, and Recreational Wellness.
